I will copy a small paragraph from my SSI SCUBA dive log which sums up nicely how proud it feels to having successfully achieved a series of SCUBA dives.
Here it goes.
“Be it remembered that Mrs. Mermaid, while wearing a TOTAL DIVING SYSTEM, did astound and amaze all beholders and other persons having knowledge thereof by parting and entering into the REALM OF NEPTUNE and becoming, temporarily, a part thereof.
And further, despite all skepticism, qualm and apprehension said person did in fact return to terra firma without visible damage to person, property, or environment, thereby successfully completing the first open water SCUBA dive and becoming one of THOSE WHO DIVE, and is so entitled, without reservation, to look down upon those who do not.”
