Ayia Napa & Protaras – Blue Lagoon Cyprus Dive Sites

At the Blue Lagoon Dive Site you will bask in crystal clear waters just like at the similarly named cove in the Akamas Peninsula!

One of the nice Cyprus dive sites, Blue Lagoon is found near the Eastern Cape, called Cape Greco or as the locals call it Cavo Greco! A similarly named cove is found in the Akamas Peninsula and is a must see if you are in Cyprus! In the Cavo Greco area this dive site lies right across one of our other favourite dive sites Sea Caves Dive Site in Protaras – Ayia Napa Area. Paved road leads almost to the make shift parking area and a small wooden roofed bench. The stone built steps leading down to a small 3m by 3m stone built dock are to the left of the bench. Entry is achieved by the long stride approach most readily from the front of the dock, and exit best accomplished from the side of the dock!

As with other Cyprus Dive Sites, this is no exception offering an interesting sea floor of potholes and boulders with small fish rummaging about in small schools or solitary. Nothing in the way of sea weed except rare patches as if oasis in a dessert landscape! Coupled with the crystal clear waters makes for a relaxing fun dive for any group of divers!

Easy to reach with even a normal car and the ease of entry and exit make it one of our favourites!
